Update

Work

Well, the FC packages came out. Most were disappointed, however it is free money, so I think most will stay. Our office has been different since all of this came out. Everyone seems to be in a funk. Hopefully soon we'll be able to move on.

Family

Quentin plays in a softball tourney tomorrow night. So guess where we'll be all night. Oh well, it's fun to watch him and he enjoys it so much. He's been busy at work. It's the end of the quarter, so things get busy.

Tyler has just finished playing Y-ball. His team wasn't very good this season. However, considering that Tyler hasn't played baseball in 2 years, I think he did great. He played first base and was really good at it. Thank goodness it's over due to the fact that we were doing baseball 4-5 nights per week.

Brayden decided that he didn't want to play anything right now. Thank goodness. We have really struggled with his ADHD and trying to keep him on his medicine schedule. He can be such a hand full. We go back to the doctor soon, so I guess we'll see how that goes.

Sean has started daycare at Debra's house. What a blessing it is that he is able to stay with her. She has taught him so much already. He has learned to say please and thank you as well as I'm sorry without being prompted. What an accomplishment. Our next step is potty training. I hope this is as easy as it was with the other two.

I've been working out at a local gym for 4 months now. I really enjoy going, and at first I lost 16 pounds, but I have since gained it back from stress. That is so frustrating. I am seeking help with weight loss and I hope that it works out. I go see a different doctor next week. Wish me luck.

Well, I think I've said enough for now so check back soon!!!

To merge or not to merge - That's the question.

What to do, what to do? Tomorrow the FC packages will be released for review. I guess we'll know our fate soon. Will we stay, or will we go? Will it be okay, or not? What's best for everyone? After 2 weeks and 2 days, finally there will be something to base the decision on. Say a prayer. We're going to need it. It will definately make for an exciting and busy day. Stay tuned...... Amanda

Getting Started

I've never blogged before, but here goes. I guess I should start by saying that I've been happily married now for 9 1/2 years to Quentin. Quentin was the answer to all of my prayers. He was the light that I so desperately needed in my life. We have 3 wonderful children. Tyler who is 11, Brayden who is 8, and Baby Sean who is 2. We are so fortunate to have such wonderful kids. Quentin and I both come from large families, so having a family of 5 is just perfect. Quentin and I both work outside of the home. Not only am I a full time mom, but I also have a full time career. It can be a challenge to juggle work, and family life. Our older 2 boys are very busy with sports and school. Sean is just busy.

Well it's after my bed time and I have to work tomorrow.
